Incoming 6th grade students and their families are invited to stop by the Mill Street Youth Center at the start of the summer to get familiar with the space and meet the staff. This come and go open house is an opportunity to walk through the building, see where things are, and get comfortable before summer begins.

Staff will be present throughout the building to welcome families, answer questions, and help students get a feel for the environment. Students are encouraged to explore different areas at their own pace and begin building familiarity with the space.

What to Expect
• Open walkthrough of the facility
• Staff available throughout the building to connect with families
• Time for students to explore and get familiar with the space
• Opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed setting

Notes for Parents: This is a chance to see the space your student will be in and meet the people who will be working with them. The focus is on helping your student feel comfortable walking in for the first time, while giving you a clear sense of the environment and supervision. More details to come on a detailed Q&A session. Parking will be free in the Mill Street Gym parking lot and on the street. Overflow parking will be available down the street at First United Methodist Church.

Due to the nature of this come-and-go event, students may not be dropped off and left unattended. Parents/guardians must remain with their students for the duration of the event and take them with them when they leave.
