Front of House Academy introduces students to the behind-the-scenes side of live music. In this 60-minute session, students learn how sound moves from a microphone or instrument through a mixer and out to the audience. A Notes for Notes producer will guide students through the basics of signal flow, gain, volume control, EQ, and simple troubleshooting so they can understand how live performances are shaped from the soundboard. This program is a good fit for students who are curious about music, technology, production, or what it takes to help a band or performer sound their best.
