Cooking Well With Friends
This three-week cooking series is led in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and taught by Amanda Molina, a Family & Community Health Agent. The class focuses on building simple, practical kitchen skills students can use at home.
Week 1 introduces how to build balanced, everyday meals.
Week 2 focuses on meal planning and preparing food ahead of time.
Week 3 brings it all together as students prepare meals they can take home and use throughout the week.
Each session includes hands-on time in the kitchen. Students will work in small groups to prep ingredients, cook, and build confidence using basic tools and techniques. This is a good fit for teens who are new to cooking or anyone looking to feel more comfortable planning and preparing their own meals.
