Mill Street Youth Center will join communities across the country in celebrating Lights On Afterschool on Thursday, October 22, from 4:30–6:00 p.m., highlighting the important role afterschool programs play in supporting young people and their families.

Hosted by the New Braunfels Youth Collaborative, the event will give invited community members an opportunity to experience Mill Street Youth Center and learn more about the free programs, resources and support available to local students in grades 6–12.

Lights On Afterschool is a nationwide celebration that shines a light on the impact of afterschool programs and the opportunities they provide for students to learn, connect and grow beyond the school day.
