Construction Workshop With Hunter Industries
Students will explore the world of highway heavy construction through a hands-on, career-focused workshop that introduces the history, processes, and real-world impact of building and maintaining infrastructure. Throughout the program, participants will learn how roads, bridges, and transportation systems are designed and constructed, explore key industry roles and equipment, and gain insight into quality inspection, materials testing, and essential safety practices. The experience culminates in a field trip to a working quarry and asphalt plant, where students will see how materials are produced and applied in real projects. This workshop provides a comprehensive look at the skills, technology, and teamwork required to support safe, reliable infrastructure and connects students to high-demand careers in the construction industry.
